Phillip Sanzano, 47, died on Thursday when the boat he was riding in with friend Christopher Cannella careened out of control and went airborne before smashing into an unoccupied home on West Fire Island.

The construction site is at the corner of Clarkson Ave. and Rogers Ave. in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
